Be competent enough, not to know

Magnus Johansson, 15 May 2023

When your self-image is strong (and authentic) – you know your strengths as well as your limitations. You have no qualms admitting your flaws and you embrace the reality – you are flawsome.

You have the best conditions for self-learning and you are on your way to become really self-managing – facing the real interdependence of other people. It is power!

It is almost as important to know what you don’t know as it is to know what you do know. When you get great at prioritizing what to learn and what is not necessary, you will become someone to count on. You will become a stronger team player and above this, you will feel more satisfied, fulfilled and prepared for whatever will happen in the future.

Being really competent means that you are knowledgeable with great will-power and that you combine this with a strong power of initiative. You show courage and is pro-active. You make things happen!

So, put effort into knowing yourself and your knowledge. It will make you a better self as well as a better team member.
